The Data Space for the agricultural and agri-food sector
The ESPADA project stems from many years of work in the agricultural and agri-food sectors, and comprises the creation, governance and exploitation of a data space at the food industry which will allow the sharing of quality data between the agents involved in the value chain, at the national and international level.
With ESPADA, developed by ADA in collaboration with ITI – Specialized Technology Center in ICTThis creates an environment of trust within the ecosystem of agents that fosters digitalization and the data-driven economy in the livestock and food sector.
ESPADA is part of the strategic initiatives promoted by the Ministry of Digital Transformation through the Data Space Reference Center (CRED), forming part of its trusted list of data spaces, as well as Gaia-X, the European initiative for the creation of an open, federated and interoperable data infrastructure.
