Strategic marketing tests: raised in order to place or reinforce the position of a certain product in the market. They provide greater knowledge about the effectiveness of the product in field conditions based on its optimal dose, application times, combined use with other products, etc.
Registration tests: carried out in order to obtain registration in the EU. These tests are done following the standards required by the EFSA (European Food Safety Agency; for additives) and by the EMA (The European Medicines Agency; for pharmacological products).
