Joaquin Morales. The use of enzymes in animal feed is a lever to optimize the animal's evaluation of food. The introduction of fiber is of economic interest in pork feed. However, the presence of non-starch polysaccharides (NSP) decreases the nutritional value of the latter, hence the interest in using carbohydrases to improve the digestibility of diets rich in NSP.
