09 Feb ADA raises biosecurity levels in livestock facilities with Biorisk

Animal Data Analytics presents Biorisk A digital solution designed to help livestock farms anticipate risks and manage biosecurity proactively, continuously, and based on data. This approach allows for increased safety on livestock farms by objectively reducing the health risks associated with the entry and movement of people and vehicles on the premises.

Mobility is necessary for the daily operation of the facilities, but it is also one of the main entry points for health risks if it is not managed properly. Biorisk It responds to this need by transforming access control into an active prevention tool.

With real-time analysis of the entry and movement of people and vehicles thanks to a simple QR code system, the solution provides objective information on compliance with biosecurity regulations and allows for the rapid identification of situations that may increase health risk, facilitating more agile and informed decision-making.

The systematic use of data also allows for the identification of critical points and the reinforcement of sustained changes in the working methods of both internal staff and external collaborators. In this way, Biorisk prevents, monitors, defines, and predicts where risks are concentrated, so that biosecurity no longer depends solely on isolated controls but is integrated as a continuous process within farm management.

Carlos Piñeiro, CEO of ADA, emphasizes that “compared to manual access control systems or ad hoc inspections that make it difficult to have a complete picture, Biorisk creates a more preventative biosecurity system by digitally identifying risk patterns and reinforcing compliance with internal regulations.” He adds that “if we consider that in biosecurity the best decision is to anticipate problems, then there is no better decision than Biorisk.”
